Holstr. is a listings platform only. We connect buyers and sellers — we are not a gun dealer, we do not process payments, and we are not involved in the actual transaction in any way. Every sale, purchase, and transfer of a firearm must be arranged entirely by the buyer and seller themselves, in accordance with the laws that apply in their country and region.
Age and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to own firearms in your jurisdiction. False declarations may result in immediate suspension and referral to authorities.
Listing responsibility
Sellers are solely responsible for what they list. Listings must comply with all local, national and EU regulations that apply where the buyer and seller are located.
Moderation & logging
Every listing is manually reviewed before going live. Sign-ups, listings and bids are logged with the source IP address for moderation and, when legally required, cooperation with authorities.
Prohibited items
Any item that is illegal to own or transfer in the buyer's or seller's jurisdiction must not be listed.
Rules by country
Holstr. operates across Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Germany. The actual rules for legally transferring a firearm between two private individuals differ per country. Below is a plain-language summary; it is not legal advice.
